A little about my story…

I’ve experienced several losses in my life, and none made me feel more broken and shaken up than my father’s passing and one particular miscarriage. Yet, I’m so grateful for the last year I shared with my father. We bonded so much that year. Then there was the second biggest loss for me. We were so close to having a healthy first trimester, but then there was no heartbeat. I felt so empty, but my unconditional love, joy, and excitement during the first trimester are irreplaceable and unforgettable. Despite my gratitude, my grief process was not linear. I felt the anger, the sadness, the relief, the guilt, and so much more.

Through my grieving, I experienced:

  • A validation of the depth of my emotions

  • Encouragement and embraced the diverse range of emotions that accompany grief

  • Better navigation through guilt, fostering self-forgiveness and self-compassion

  • Finding space where my pain and the love I have for my loved one coexist

  • Holding onto hope for myself until I was ready to embrace it and helped myself discover a renewed sense of purpose with my growth

And that is what I want for all members of the Flowing Hearts Circle.

I did not realize how much Flowing Hearts would help me on my grief journey.

Grief is such an individual experience because no one knows who you lost like you do. It has always felt to me that I cannot speak to anyone about whom I miss, and yet this support circle has made me feel less alone in my singular grief experience. When we meet, each of us gets to share how our grief is manifesting at that moment, listen to what others experienced when they were at that stage, and internalize those experiences as they relate to our own grief. We share memories; we give each other advice; and sometimes we do not speak at all and let someone share because they need it more that week. It has felt incredibly validating to share what I consider to be poor manifestations of grief and have others tell me they have done the same or contribute a new perspective that gives me more leniency in my journey than I had been previously giving myself. Truly, the Flowing Hearts Circle is my most valuable medium of sharing my grief and receiving unconditional and unprejudiced grace and love in return.

So, how do we get started?

It’s Simple!

1

Schedule Your Consultation

The first step is looking at available times for your 30-minute consultation! Visit my appointment scheduler below to complete a brief form and schedule a 30-minute video consultation.

Attend Your Consultation

This video consultation is an opportunity for us to meet for the first time and directly assess if our group is a good fit for your needs. It’s also a chance for you to ask questions, address any doubts, and build trust.

My goal is to ensure the group remains a safe and supportive space for everyone, so I want to avoid admitting participants who might disrupt this dynamic.

Get Guidance

If the group is not a good fit, I’ll provide appropriate resources and referrals or recommend starting with individual grief coaching.
If the group is a good fit, I’ll share details about how it works, including meeting frequency, expectations, and benefits.

Join our Member Platform

Once accepted, the applicant will receive a link to sign up for the group. We use the “circle” app as our hub for: Event scheduling, communication between gatherings, sharing resources, offering ongoing support to one another. This will be a safe haven for those walking similar paths to you on your grief journey.
